Yes, our Cash in Transit Security Course is nationally accredited.
The course is at certificate 3 level. Your Trainer will present the material in a clear manner and assist you with individual difficulties.

Minimum numbers apply to this course. While we manage to run most of our courses, unfortunately the odd one may be cancelled or postponed due to lack of numbers or trainer illness. There are 3 units of Competency in this course:
CPPSEC3050A Load and unload cash in transit in an unsecured environment
CPPSEC3051A Implement cash-in-transit security procedures
CPPSEC3052A Inspect and test cash-in-transit security equipment

There is no credit transfer for this course.

Marking and Assessing Your Work

You will be contacted by the Trainer via email or phone with any concerns and given 2 additional chances and additional tuition from the trainer. The trainer needs to assess you as competent – you are not required to get 100% to pass the course. This will be explained to you by the trainer during the course.
You will be required to submit a hard copy to your Trainer.

The Training Day

Typically the Cash in Transit Course Gold Coast runs between 8:30 am until 4:00 pm.

Your trainer has discretion on the number of breaks. Usually, there will always be a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea break in addition to smaller coffee breaks as the group requires.

Talon Education & your Trainer will attempt to make alternative arrangements, such as re-booking a later time or providing additional tuition. The course will proceed as usual for the other students.
You will need to discuss this with the Trainer. Generally it won’t be a problem as long as the phone is on vibrate and the other students are not interrupted. You will not be permitted to speak, text or Email from your phone in the training room, but you will be permitted to step outside to undertake these activities for important matters. The training will continue for the other students during this time.

Location, Parking and Food

Our training room is located in the Tallebudgera Sports and Recreation Centre. Tallebudgera Leisure Centre, 1525 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach North, Qld There is plenty of free parking.
There is a cafe on site for light meals and snacks, or you can bring your own.
